MIT Team Books
The MIT Blackjack Team had successfully applied the card counting techniques in a group format to make millions of dollars. Over the years, several MIT Teams have existed over the course of more than two decades and their experiences in casinos have been quite exciting. At the height of their success, the team had been making millions of dollars and had been living in some of the most luxurious hotels and travelling to foreign countries to play blackjack in their casinos.
Their escapades, the strategies that they used, and the constant dodging of the pit bosses all account for nail biting material in the below mentioned black jack books:
Bringing Down the House
Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich had been a best seller that was based on the famous MIT Blackjack Team. The book had increased the popularity of the team and had invoked a renewed interest of the people in card counting. The book had later been made in the popular movie, '21'.
Busting Vegas
Busting Vegas by Ben Mezrich is the follow up of his previous highly successful best selling book, Bringing Down the House. The book follows the story line of the previous book, while the main character of the book is Semyon Dukach, one of the most successful members of the MIT Blackjack Team.
Million Dollar Blackjack
Although Million Dollar Blackjack isn't about the MIT Blackjack Team, it deserves a place in this section since it was the first ever book written about the concept of game playing in the world of blackjack. The book had been written by the legendary Ken Uston, who had been one of the earliest card counters and one of the 7 initial members of the Blackjack Hall of Fame.
